The new shoulder rest enables you to finally achieve genuine raising and bringing the left shoulder forward,
fine-motoric control of your instrument. You achieve complete stabilisation of the instrument without the assistance of the left
arm, the left hand, merely through placing the support on the
chest / shoulder area and the head on the opposite side.

The following health-impairing remedy movements are no longer necessary:
mostly in combination with pressing the head/chin into the chin rest,
turning the head to the left.
In most cases, these remedy movements lead to tension and pain and, in the long term, to pathological changes in the shoulder and spine.
As long as you hold your instrument with the left hand (arm) and, particularly, with the thumb, you inhibit the fine-motoric activity of your fingers, essential for the fine nuances required and effortless playing.
The new shoulder rest gives you the necessary leeway to move your arm, hand and in particular your fingers with freedom. Thus enabeling you to utilise your body in its natural posture and alignment.
